Adam Harahuc / Show Host

Adam Harahuc shows

Local music has always been in the blood for Adam Harahuc; he’s been writing and playing it for over a quarter century. But it was a chance encounter with Mitch Gill back in 1994 that set Adam down the dark path to becoming a professional radio DJ, starting as an intern at Wings 103 and eventually working his way up to hosting weekends and the local music show, Sunday Night Sessions. In keeping with a long tradition of questionable decisions, he attended and graduated from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts (a fact he never lets the rest of us forget)… after he’d already been fired twice from Wings. In an even more questionable choice, he also played in a band with Sean Cantwell, which ultimately led to the mess we find ourselves in today. These days, Adam is the host of our local music showcase, Solid State Sessions, and the primary target of Sean’s abuse on Happy Hour. You can also hear him riding shotgun as producer/co-host of The Blarney Hour. When he’s not doing any of those things, he’s most likely at home with a tallboy of Natty Light, watching hockey and asking Alexa for the 200th time who won the 1997 Stanley Cup.
